Why go

Freddo, cold brew and a roastery behind them

Cyprus drinks its coffee cold, and The Daily Roast’s signatures follow: Freddo Espresso, Freddo Cappuccino, Iced Americano and cold brew. What separates it from a cold-coffee counter is that the beans behind those drinks are roasted in-house, with the roast recipe adjusted for each brewing method rather than one profile pushed through every format. The house states the ambition plainly, from roasting recipe to cup. The house has been roasting specialty coffee in Cyprus since 2014.

A bar, a bean shelf and a training room

The menu is structured the way a roastery thinks: hot coffees, cold coffees, beans and cold brew, hot-brew teas and matchas, then everything else. Alongside the bar sits a retail range of filters, brewers, grinders, espresso machines and accessories, and behind it a dedicated training room. The Daily Roast runs private training for café staff and custom workshops for home baristas, plus wholesale and office coffee, so the Nicosia site is a working hub rather than only a place to drink. European Coffee Trip includes it in its Nicosia guide and recognised it in the 2025 awards. Online retail and delivery extend the same range beyond the counter, alongside merchandise and event planning, so the brand reaches people who never set foot in the room.

Order cold brew first, then take beans

Start with the cold brew, the clearest bridge between the bar and the packaged range, sold as a concentrate in sizes from 250ml to a litre. From there, move to the beans: Barista Blend for the house style, or Colombia Yuppie, Guatemala Maya and Ethiopia Halo Beriti for the origin-labelled bags. Food fills in around the coffee with brunch and lunch plates, pastries, sweets, yoghurts and energy balls. Teas and matchas hold their own part of the board for anyone not drinking coffee. The strategy is simple enough to state in a line: cold brew first, then decide whether the visit is a quick stop, a bean-and-equipment browse, or a longer session shaped by the training side of the business.

Frequently asked questions

What should you order at The Daily Roast?

Cold brew is the clearest first order and the bridge between the bar and the packaged range, sold as a concentrate in sizes from 250ml to a litre. Freddo Espresso, Freddo Cappuccino and Iced Americano cover the rest of the cold list. To take the roast home, choose Barista Blend or an origin bag.

Does The Daily Roast run coffee training?

Yes. There is a dedicated training room on site, with private training for café staff and custom workshops for home baristas. That sits alongside wholesale, office coffee and a retail range of filters, brewers, grinders and espresso machines, which makes the address a working hub as well as a café.
