Sculptural pastry from a fashion house

Peak is the flagship: a large mountain-shaped centrepiece that says most of what NUDAKE means by dessert. This is Gentle Monster's Seoul flagship dessert shop, opened in January 2021 as the eyewear and fashion brand's first dedicated pastry concept, and it sits on the B1 level of the HAUS DOSAN complex in Apgujeong, below the brand's retail and cultural floors. The identity is dessert-first rather than coffee-first. NUDAKE frames itself as an artistic dessert laboratory making sweets as new fantasies, with sculptural shapes and surreal presentation carrying the story rather than a pastry chef's signature. The Haus Dosan flagship is distinct from NUDAKE Seongsu and NUDAKE Teahouse Seongsu, which came later as separate rooms with their own character. It opened as an extension of the brand rather than as a café business standing on its own.

The room works like a gallery case

Part café, part display environment, the space behaves as a destination inside Gentle Monster's visual universe rather than as a neighbourhood coffee shop, with eyewear retail, brand installation, dessert and drinks overlapping in one building. Desserts are treated like objects in a case, in forms that suggest mountains, truffles, berries and abstract sculpture, and the visual impact is what most visitors come for and photograph first. Coffee and tea play a supporting role. The drinks list stays with espresso-based drinks, black coffee and simple teas, which keeps attention on the pastry counter rather than splitting it. The audience is mixed: international visitors, local trend seekers and fans drawn by the brand itself.

Order from the signatures

Order by the pastry names, because they define this place more clearly than the drinks do. Peak is the flagship and the clearest expression of the sculptural style, and Peak Small repeats the idea in a smaller format. Snow Mountain keeps the landscape theme with a white, snow-capped finish. Nu Truffle turns the truffle form into pastry, Blooming Berry takes a berry direction, and Microissant offers four miniature croissants for a smaller bite. The menu also runs to Mini Baguette with Butter, Yang Pain and Dutch Black. Pair whichever you choose with a black coffee, an espresso-based drink such as a flat white, or a simple tea. The kitchen is an in-house bakery, and Gentle Monster's creative direction shapes the NUDAKE world rather than a named pastry chef.
