Why go
Filters, origins and a matcha list
The coffee list at Frut’za’s Komuna branch runs longer than the room suggests. V60 hand-brewed filters are poured with Ethiopia and Geisha, and the espresso side carries Double Specialty Costa Rica, Double Ethiopia, Double India Araku, Specialty Coffee Mexico Fatima, Mexico Semi-Decaf, American Coffee and Cappuccino Freddo. Each origin is described by what it tastes of rather than by score: berries, orange and honey from Ethiopia; orange, cinnamon and chocolate from Costa Rica; passion fruit, honey and apricot from India Araku; caramel and raisins from the Mexican semi-decaf; and jasmine, green tea and raspberry from the Geisha. Away from coffee, the Matcha Latte is made cold with premium matcha and milk, and the Kyiv Tea is a hot infusion of passion fruit, ginger and peppermint. Olive oil coffee, fruit shots and lemon-infused water fill out the rest.
Brunch served all day
The kitchen is a brunch kitchen rather than a pastry case. Protein bowls anchor it, built on basmati rice, avocado, cherry tomatoes and a soft-boiled egg, with chicken breast, salmon or 100 g of spicy pastrami as the variable. The Watermelon Salad comes with goat feta, olive oil and lemon on the side. It suits solo visits and quiet work as much as a slow weekend table, and the plant milks and vegan-friendly choices keep the bowls usable for most of a group. Fresh juices and homemade items round the list out, which is why the room fills across the whole day rather than in one morning rush.
Where to start
For a coffee-led visit, order by origin. V60 Ethiopia for berries, orange and honey, Double Specialty Costa Rica for orange, cinnamon and chocolate, Double India Araku for passion fruit, honey and apricot, or V60 Geisha for jasmine, green tea and raspberry. If you would rather have the house’s own idea than a clean origin, the olive oil coffee and the Cappuccino Freddo are the two to try. For matcha, take the Matcha Latte and pair it with the Levain Matcha Pistachio Cookie, crisp outside and gooey in the middle, made with butter, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, matcha, pistachios and white chocolate chunks. That pairing is the clearest single answer to what the place is for.

Frequently asked questions
What should you order at Frut’za | Komuna?
Order by origin if coffee is the point: V60 Ethiopia for berries, orange and honey, or V60 Geisha for jasmine, green tea and raspberry. For something more particular to the house, take the olive oil coffee or the Cappuccino Freddo, then add the Levain Matcha Pistachio Cookie.
Can you work there?
It works for that. The room is used for solo visits and quiet stretches of work as much as for long weekend brunches, and the food is built to sit alongside it: protein bowls, the watermelon salad, fresh juices and a coffee list long enough to justify a second cup.
