The branch that heads the list

Dohwa, in the Mapo-gu district of Seoul, sits first in the Fritz store list, ahead of the Wonseo, Yangjae, Yongsan, Seongsan, Independence Gate and Jangchung branches, and it is treated as the flagship. The building is part of the reason: a residential shell was adapted for café use, keeping wood, tile, warm light and a courtyard, so the room feels like a house that took on a coffee bar rather than a template dropped into Mapo-gu.

Window seats look onto the street and the courtyard view does the rest. It is a room people sit in, not only pass through.

Roasting, filter and the retail shelf

The drink programme is coffee-led and built on Fritz's own roasting.
