Why go
A La Marzocco bar sits at the centre of the room, a grab-and-go station called ReadyBev beside it, apparel and brewing gear on the shelves behind. BIGFACE is Jimmy Butler’s Miami flagship, a coffee-and-retail concept in the Design District that opened to the public in January 2025 after several years in development. Butler’s own framing is plain enough: better coffee, big dreams, and time spent behind the bar talking to whoever is ordering.
The coffee lineup
The programme runs on multi-origin blends, omni roasts and origin-specific espresso and filter lots. DOUBLESTAR is the flexible one, built for espresso, pour over and everything in between, with strawberry, floral honey and stone fruit notes. EARTHSHINE carries chocolate, plums and blood orange. NEBULA lists raw sugar, hibiscus and apricot. KILONOVA is rich and jammy, roasted light-medium for clarity and pitched at pour over and drip while still working as a modern espresso.
The single-origin side is where the sourcing shows. LOS ALISOS is an espresso from the Los Alisos farm in Cajamarca, Peru, grown at 1,900 metres and washed processed, with Marcona almond, acacia honey and raisin notes. HACIENDA LA PAPAYA is a filter coffee from Saraguro in southern Ecuador, also washed, at 1,850 metres, with hibiscus, plum and honey. CHELCHELE, KAYANZA, LA GRANADA and SANTA MARIA fill out the retail shelf alongside them.
A 2,500-square-foot room
The building is a visual flagship as much as a coffee stop: an ultramodern 2,500-square-foot space, gallery-like inside, with lounge seating and the coffee staged up front rather than hidden behind the merchandise. The retail half sells apparel, gear, bundles and beans, so the room works as showroom and cafe at once.
Equipment is part of that display. Alongside the La Marzocco bar, a Modbar Espresso AV has been used for service, and opening week drew a line wrapped around the building during Art Basel Miami. The Design District address keeps Bigface inside a design-and-culture orbit rather than a purely neighbourhood one, which is what the room is built to handle.
Order espresso, or take the shortcut
For the fullest read on the programme, order an espresso or a pour over from the origin lots, then buy a bag of whatever is pulling well that week. DOUBLESTAR is the safest first bag because it holds up across brew methods; KILONOVA is the one for anybody brewing filter at home.
If time is short, ReadyBev is the named grab-and-go station and the fastest way through the room. Either route lands in the same place. This is a coffee-first flagship, with the retail wall and the architecture working around the bar rather than over it.

Frequently asked questions
What coffee should I order at Bigface?
Start with DOUBLESTAR, the omni roast built for espresso, pour over and everything in between, with strawberry, floral honey and stone fruit notes. If you want the sourcing on display, ask for LOS ALISOS as espresso or HACIENDA LA PAPAYA as filter. KILONOVA is the bag to take home for drip at home.
What is ReadyBev?
ReadyBev is Bigface’s grab-and-go station, set beside the main La Marzocco bar for prepared drinks and faster pickup. It is the shortcut through a room that otherwise runs on espresso service and pour over, and it exists because the flagship handles coffee-programme visitors and Design District foot traffic in the same space.
