The Little Haiti room is Panther's lab and roastery, so the production side of the company sits in view: you can watch the team roast behind a glass wall while drinking the results. That is what separates this branch from the rest of the Miami group, and it is the reason to choose it over a closer Panther.

The company is a small-batch roaster built by Joel and Leticia Pollock, working across roasting, retail, wholesale and coffee preparation. Its own coffees carry the bar rather than a rotating guest list: 1927, 1985, EAST COAST, MEJOR, CASA, a Mountain Water decaf and a dedicated cold brew, with tasting notes running from milk chocolate and toasted almond to black cherry, sugarcane, caramel, apricot and baking spice. A larger room that rewards staying

This branch is bigger than the rest of the local group, and the extra space changes what it is for. It works as a quick counter handoff, but it also takes a long laptop session, a slow breakfast or a light lunch without feeling crowded.

Daytime service is straightforward: espresso drinks, cold brew, tea, pastries and light food ordered at the counter. In the evening the same room becomes Panther After Dark, a natural wine bar set up as a relaxed place for locals to gather over wine, some food and more coffee. The two modes share the space rather than competing, which is why the room can be a morning office and an evening bar on the same day.

Cold brew first, latte if you are staying

Order the cold brew first. Panther makes it as a named product rather than an afterthought, and it is the cleanest read of the house style on a hot Miami afternoon. If the plan is to sit for a while, a latte or a straight espresso keeps the focus on the roast while the room does its work.

For beans, the choice is about profile rather than novelty: 1927 and 1985 sit at the house-blend centre, EAST COAST and MEJOR change the register, and the Mountain Water decaf is the one to take home for the evening. Tea is on the list, and the pastry case is the natural daytime pairing, with a fuller kitchen attached to the After Dark wine service.
