The café was named a European Coffee Trip country winner for 2025.

Wooden furniture, a terrace, and room to stay

The room is built around calm. Wooden furniture made by a local carpenter is the most specific thing in it and gives the space a handmade character that a fitted-out chain interior cannot reach. If coffee can wait, start with the matcha, because it is the drink the café is most consistently praised for and the one that shows the bar's attention most clearly. If coffee is the reason for coming, order a latte instead; it is the most reliable expression of the specialty programme here and the drink the baristas make most often. Food follows the same simple frame. Freshly baked pastries are the natural companion, and there are prepared savoury items for anyone treating the visit as a light meal rather than a break between other things. The best order is straightforward: a latte or a matcha, something from the pastry case, and enough time to use the quiet room or the terrace properly.
