Drip and Dolce

Twelve croissant flavours came out of the case on the first day, alongside coffee and homemade lemonade. Drip and Dolce trades as Specialty Coffee & Couture Croissants, a queer-owned coffee shop and boutique bakery in West Hollywood's Rainbow District, and the pastry side carries half the concept rather than propping up an espresso bar.

Couture croissants before the coffee decision

The name splits the idea in two: Drip for coffee extraction, Dolce for the sweet half. The bakery opened its first bricks-and-mortar location on 4 September 2025 and served a dozen flavoured croissants to a limited first group of customers. Breakfast plates, lunch plates and a children's menu widen the food past pastry, and homemade lemonade gives the non-coffee side a drink made in house.

A Rainbow District room with a previous life

The cafe took over the former Hollywood Burger site, which closed in February 2025 after four years, turning a casual dining footprint into a daytime coffee and bakery space. It is explicitly queer-owned and set up as a place where the community can gather and be seen over coffee and pastry, which matters here as much as the menu does. Trifecta Hospitality Group operates it, and this is the brand's first physical address after building the name as a bakery company.

Order the croissant, then choose the drink

Take the croissant case as the daily anchor. The couture croissant language points to a design-led bakery, and the opening dozen is a fair measure of how wide the flavour range runs. Then choose between the house coffee and the homemade lemonade, the house drink for anyone skipping coffee. For a longer visit the menu extends into breakfast and lunch, children's plates included, but the shortest version of Drip and Dolce is a croissant, a coffee and a seat in the Rainbow District.
