The range reflects that double identity. Bakery and desserts are the core, and around them run continental, European, international, South Indian, North Indian and Italian dishes, so the venue works for a full plate as readily as for a pastry and a coffee.

The room is built for staying. High tea belongs to its rhythm, taken in a space lined with books, and the wider character of the resort carries into it: the feel of an English country estate with a Rajasthani heart, quiet and unhurried by design.

Seating runs both indoors and outside, which changes the visit depending on the hour and the weather. Within the property it is treated as one of the Raffles signatures, in the company of the Writers Bar and the Long Bar, so it functions as a destination for guests rather than an incidental cafe passed on the way somewhere else. The property sits on Udai Sagar Lake and the patisserie belongs to a wider food and beverage collection, which is part of why it reads as a hotel room first and a pastry shop second.

How to use it

Come for the pastry first. It is the one thing the venue is explicitly built around, and the daily bake is the clearest expression of what the kitchen is for. It is also the constant, whatever else the menu is doing that day.

High tea is the fuller version of the same visit, with the book-lined room doing as much work as the plate. If the stop needs to become a meal, the international and Indian sections of the menu carry it, and vegan, gluten-free and Jain options sit within the same list. Treat it less as an independent neighbourhood patisserie and more as a signature hotel room where the pastry counter happens to lead, with live music and the lake filling in around it.
