Why go
Mexican coffee, roasted in Copenhagen, is the whole argument at SILENT CLUB, Komuna Coffee’s home base and a showroom that does not behave like one.
Six coffees, six processes
The reason to come is the Mexican programme, summed up in the line grown in Mexico, roasted in Copenhagen. The lots are specific and process-led: Bellavista is washed, with chocolate, hazelnut and green apple; Los Pinos is washed and carbon neutral, with crumble pie, raisin and walnut; Toningo is red honey, with grapefruit, plum and caramel; Nuyuku is washed, with wild honey, blackcurrant and hibiscus; Toningo Yellow is yellow honey, with vanilla, butter and cinnamon; and Pocitos is natural, fermented for 72 hours, landing on sour cherry candy.
The house writes about brewing as much as buying, with recipes for Bellavista at home and its first pourover workshop, so the culture runs from origin and process through preparation to the finished cup. Komuna calls itself one community, one Komuna, and ties the coffee back to regenerative farming in Mexico.
A design showroom that pours coffee
SILENT CLUB works as a calm Copenhagen coffee stop with a showroom rhythm rather than a broad café setup. The space is shared with six Scandinavian design brands, which shapes the visit around browsing, drinking and picking up the sourcing story in a restrained room. The brand language reaches for Mexican hygge, community and regenerative agriculture, connecting the cup in Copenhagen to the farms behind it.
Food is present but small. Baked goods are made for the venue each morning it opens, and SILENT CLUB is the only place in Copenhagen to eat them; the house does not name the bake, so treat it as one good thing beside the coffee rather than a pastry programme.
Start with a washed lot, then go honey
The strongest trail runs through the beans. Start with a washed coffee, Bellavista or Nuyuku, for the clean end of the range, then move to the honey-processed Toningo lots when sweetness and body are the point. Pocitos is the one to order when a long natural fermentation sounds right.
Baristas here are comfortable with brewing detail, and the pourover recipes the house publishes point to a bar happy to talk method rather than defend it. Set against Copenhagen roasters such as Coffee Collective, La Cabra and Original Coffee, Komuna stands apart on Mexico-specific sourcing, its regenerative farming story, and the quiet design showroom it pours in.

Frequently asked questions
What coffee does Komuna Coffee SILENT CLUB serve?
Mexican single origins, roasted in Copenhagen. The line-up runs across processes: washed Bellavista and Nuyuku for clarity, red and yellow honey Toningo lots for sweetness and body, and Pocitos, a natural fermented for 72 hours that lands on sour cherry candy. Los Pinos is the washed, carbon neutral lot.
Is there anything to eat at SILENT CLUB?
A little. Baked goods are made for the venue every morning it opens and are sold nowhere else in Copenhagen, but the house does not name the bake and there is no wider kitchen. Come for the coffee and treat the pastry as the thing that sits beside it.
