Daily Dose calls itself an újhullámos kávézó és közösségi tér, a new-wave café and community space, and the second half of that phrase is the part that shapes a visit. Szeged has plenty of places to drink coffee. This one is built to be sat in. The counter is the centre of it, espresso-led and quick, but the room around it is arranged for people who arrive with a laptop, a friend or an afternoon to spend. The business was set up in 2025, which makes it one of the newer arrivals in the city's coffee scene rather than an old Szeged institution.

Coffee first, in a compact room

The programme is specialty coffee and the format is an espresso bar, which keeps things narrow in a useful way. Between the counter, the tables and the seats outside, one small room ends up doing three different jobs across a single day.

Start with espresso or something built on it. That is where the house puts its attention, and on a counter this size the baristas are the menu: ask what is on the grinder that week, and let the answer decide between a straight shot, a flat white and something longer to sit with.

Beyond the coffee, the reason to choose Daily Dose over the next café along is the community-space framing. It is a Szeged room that expects you to stay a while, which is a fundamentally different proposition from a takeaway window, and it explains why the seating runs both inside and out rather than being an afterthought at the front of the shop.
