The coffee here comes from Friedhats, and the bar pours it across espresso and alternative brew methods rather than defaulting to one house cup. Beside the espresso sit signature coffee drinks built in house, and on the counter, éclairs, which are the food the place is known for.

A coffee-dedicated room in central Sofia

This is a coffee bar first, a small central room organised around what is being brewed rather than around a kitchen. It was named a European Coffee Trip Country Winner for 2025, which puts it among the Bulgarian bars people travel for. Later in the day the room leans on music, giving the evening a different pace from the morning filter service.

What to order

Order a filter or another alternative brew first if you want to see what the Friedhats beans are doing; the bar is set up to talk you through them. If you would rather have something built for you, the signature coffee drinks are the house’s own work. Add an éclair either way, since it is the clearest food reason to stop.
