The airport setting is practical, but the room is more considered than a transit stop: wood, glass and a dedicated wine display give it the character of a proper evening restaurant.

The restaurant’s stated approach is to use locally produced meat, cheese and vegetables, including fresh garnishes grown in its in-house Urban Cultivator. The menu moves between shareable plates and traditional dinner choices. Recent official and listing material names dishes such as spring rolls, calamari, salmon, short ribs, chicken and steak, with desserts completing the meal. Wine is a central part of the offer. The custom-built cellar holds roughly 150 varieties, and guests can select a bottle from the display rather than treating wine as an afterthought to the food.

The restaurant sits adjacent to Winnipeg’s airport inside the Grand hotel, which makes it particularly useful for an evening meal around a flight or an overnight stay. The current official schedule is dinner-led, with the restaurant and lounge open from 5pm to 11pm daily; check the venue’s own site if timing is critical. Reservations are available, and hotel parking can be validated. Come for a seated dinner rather than a quick coffee counter. If you are sharing, begin with a few smaller plates and use the wine cellar to shape the rest of the meal.
